New "PLUSH" Pedals - a Division of Fuchs

Plush was a short lived maker of some amazing sounding, and innovative tube bass and guitar amplifiers in the 60's and 70's. They grew to have factories on both the east and west coasts. After a long and successful run, eventually Plush was sold to another owner and became Earth Sound Research.

Plush Pedals have been resurrected as a division of Fuchs Audio Technology and will once again be a leading source for premium guitar tone! Their initial offerings will be a series of guitar effects pedals, both tube and solid state, and affordable too!

Radical Tone has all of the Plush Pedals in stock ready to ship. Get yours today!

Plush Cream

Plush Cream EFX PedalThe Tube Screamer might be the most popular and famous overdrive pedal ever made. Made popular by SRV and countless others, the TS-808 (and it's derivatives) have become legendary. When Fuchs designed the Cream, they sought to produce a pedal with the 3-knob simplicity of this classic pedal, while refining the overall design to modern boutique standards. In addition to the selected Integrated circuit, they carefully chose each resistor and capacitor to voice the Cream to be quiet, smooth yet articulate and dynamic. It responds well to both picking strength and guitar volume, and, best of all, it feels like a tube amp. The gain control takes you from a mild edge to the hardest scream. The tone control takes you from a warm "woman tone" to a screaming lead tone with just the right amount of sparkle. Choose your tone, then set your level with the output control and rock on!

Extreme CreAM

Plush Extreme Cream EFX PedalWhen Fuchs introduced the Plush Cream, a number players became repeat customers. When asked why, they explained that they set one for a great rhythm crunch and the second for a screaming lead tone. Fuchs addressed that problem with The Extreme Cream. Feturing two 3-knob channels. One is voiced like the stock Cream. The second is voiced warmer, all under one hood. A simple a/b switch and a simple on/off switch make operation a breeze. In addition to the selected Integrated circuits, they carefully chose each resistor and capacitor to voice the Extreme Cream to be quiet, smooth yet articulate, and dynamic. Both channels respond well to both picking strength and guitar volume, and, best of all, it feels like a tube amp. The gain control takes you from a mild edge to the hardest scream. The tone control takes you from a warm "woman tone" to a screaming lead tone with just the right amount of sparkle. Choose your tone, then set your level with the output control and rock on!

Plush Drive

Plush Drive EFX PedalThe Plush Drive was designed for those who want the true tone, response and feel of boutique tube amps like the Dumble, Fuchs or Two-Rock, at a reasonable price. Call it your "Robben in a box". The unique 4-knob circuit gives you unprecedented control over the most important aspects of your tone. On the input end, the gain and touch controls allow you to set just the right amount of distortion and pick response, based on your guitar and playing style. On the output end, a subtle tone control and level control allow you to set both your overall lead tone and solo level. A unique bi-fet integrated circuit and matched discrete FET's are designed to emulate the smooth overload and musical second order distortion of a tube circuit quietly, musically, and reliably. Coupled to a good clean amp it's awesome. Add it to your amps overdrive for a super thick overdrive tone you won't know how you lived without before. Quiet enough to put in front of an overdriven amp.

Royal PlushRoyal Plush EFX Pedal

Original Ross and Dan Armstrong compressors are about impossible to find and VERY expensive. The Fuchs Royal Plush pedal is affordable, simple to operate and quiet. True hardwire bypass and premium parts throughout. Volume and bias controls allow you to set your compression from a soft limiting effect to an extremely compressed output. A selected integrated circuit, boutique quality passive parts chosen for tone, and matched FET's assure quiet consistent performance for the life of the unit.

Créme de la Trem

Plush Creme De La Trem EFX PedalThe Plush tremolo is designed to emulate the unique sound of the Fender Brownface tremolo, one of the more unique and sought after tremolo tones. Not only does it provide level variation, but the subtle tonal shifts, not unlike a rotating speaker or chorus, unavailable in any other tremolo pedal. Lush, full, spacious and quiet. Simple rate and depth controls allow you to tailor the tone to your exact needs. True hardwire bypass, battery or adaptor power.

Pure Gain

Plush Pure Gain EFX PedalThe name says it all ! A unique circuit topology unlike anything currently on the market, the Pure Gain gives up to 25db of gain (that's about a 20 times increase in your guitars output level), with an astoundingly low noise floor. By using selected and matched devices in the circuit, premium parts throughout, we have what we believe may be the quietest gain boost on the market. Besides a true hard-wire passive bypass, the gain control allows you to use Pure Gain as an active buffer, which converts your signal from a hi impedance input to a low impedance output. Excellent for driving long cables, driving a pedal board, or use it to drive an overdrive pedal or amplifier into searing high gain territory. Excellent for raising single coil pickups to humbucker levels. A small footprint allows easily fitting it into most pedal boards easily.

Valve Job

Plush Valve Job EFX PedalPerhaps the closest tone to a boutique tube amp, without the size, weight, and price! The Plush Valve Job was designed for those who want the true tone, response and feel the only a real tube can provide. Like the Plush Drive, the Valve Job features a unique 4-knob circuit which gives unprecedented control over the most important aspects of your tone. On the input end, the gain and touch controls allow you to set just the right amount of distortion and pick response based on your guitar and playing style. On the output end, a subtle tone control and level control allow you to set both your overall lead tone and solo level. A unique bi-fet integrated circuit matched to a real 12AX7 vacuum tube emulates the smooth overload of a tube amp, but with the shimmering harmonics only a tube can provide. Besides a Santana horn-like musical distortion, the Tube Driver can provide one of the greatest gnarly slide guitar tones you'll ever hear. It has a unique "almost out of control" feel that only a real tube can provide.
